Everyone took part in the balloons with plant
markers with contact details and added their name to them,
some traditional scouting games, made catapults,
rope making, backwoods cooking, string trail and aerial runway.
After all the activities everyone gathered round the flag pole
and all the beavers released their balloons high into the sky.
The furthest one reached Germany!!
The beavers looked forward to
their tea cooked by our Fellowship members.
After everything was washed up everyone had their whistles they made earlier around their necks
and headed for the camp fire and a sing song.

All too soon the
activities were over and each Beaver was given a 'goodie bag' for
taking part in the Giant Sleepover. The closing ceremony around
the flagpole gave the beavers an opportunity to thank the Fellowship
for cooking, the leaders for a memorable weekend and
of course the beavers and parents for coming along. They were then
presented with the Babble badge and certificate and for some their
first Nights Away badge.
Everyone had a very happy Babble.
